About Our Facility

Northshore Pellissippi Storage is a new facility opened in the Fall of 2009. We strive to provide our customers a safe, secure, conditioned, and attractive storage facility to meet the storage needs of homeowners and renters, as well as businesses.

Friendly and helpful staff
During the day we are available to help you choose a unit, setup your account, and help in any way we can. After office hours – you can still access your storage unit – and if you need help we are a phone call away

Convenient location
At the corner of two major thoroughfares – Northshore Drive and Pellissippi Parkway in West Knoxville – we are easy to find and easy to access.

Limited access and 24-hour surveillance.
We provide each renter an individual access code which is necessary to enter their rental floor or area. This code is also required to gain entry into the main hall of the building after office hours.

We monitor all access points to our building, the parking and loading areas, the hallways the access doors to the storage areas, the elevators, and the hallways 24 hours a day for your safety and the security of your items. Intercoms are located throughout each floor providing easy access to management during business hours.

Each unit is secured with an ‘Gardian’ lock which is provided with your lease. Outdoor lighting of the building and parking area provides a well lit area for evening visits.

Conditioned Space
Your goods are stored in conditioned space that is maintained to minimize heat and humidity change. By maintaining ideal temperature and humidity levels within our facility, we protect your belongings from extreme temperatures and mold-causing moisture. We do not control the climate but our building is constructed with 8 inch concrete walls and 5 inches of insulation so that we can better maintain the temperature and humidity.

Afterhours access – “Extended Access”
Access your belongings even when the office is closed with your personalized access code. Both the dock entrance and the front entrance can be accessed outside of regular office hours by using your access code. You must sign up for this service. Once in the main hall of the building you will use your access code as you do during regular hours. With “Extended Access” you have 24 hour access to your unit.

Clean indoor environment
All of our units are indoors, keeping your belongings far away from the elements. Your belongings are stored in a clean, conditioned environment.

Dock access to building
Our facility is easily accessed for on and off loading of cars or trucks. In addition to our covered front entrance we have a covered dock with three dock heights; a ramp to easily move items from your car, a dock for easy on/off loading of a pickup truck, and a dock for larger moving vans.

We have nine (9) sizes of walk in units. The smallest to the largest are: 5'x 5' – 5’x10’ – 5’x15’ – 10x7.5’ – 10’x10’ –10’x12.5’ – 10’x15’ – 10’x20’ – and 10'x30’.

Our unit walls are 9 feet high and our door openings are 7’ 9” high by 8’ 8” wide.

Private Storage Area
We have a Private Storage area on the main floor that is accessed by both code and fingerprint identification. This is not a vault but a private room that has steel storage units and 24 hour video surveillance. “On Line Account” access
When you rent a unit you are given an access code. When you enter our website you can type in your personal ID and your access code to access your account to make payments, check account history, or update your personal information — Account Access.
