Security & Access

Northshore Pellissippi Storage has a multi-layer, state-of-the-art security system designed to keep your belongings safe. You are assigned a unique pass code to gain access to the storage facility; use the access code again to access only your floor; and arrive at your storage unit which is secured with an ‘Gardian’ lock & latch system, which we provide.

• All storage units are contained and accessed indoors. There is no direct outdoor access to individual storage units.
  
• Computerized entry doors with personalized key codes give you access into the building and to the floor where your unit is located.
  
• All access doors and hallways are monitored by video. All activity is video recorded and held for 30 days and then erased.
  
• In our “Private Storage” room access is by fingerprint identification and all entry and activity is recorded and kept for a minimum of 90 days.
  
• Pass code-restricted elevators limit renters’ access only to the floor where their unit is located.
  
• You may install your own lock on your unit but in addition you will be provided our ‘Gardian’ lock with a coded key, and you’ll have the only key to gain entry.
  
• Our Gardian lock cannot be cut and the unique round key design cannot be duplicated.
  
• The walls and floors are concrete. We have a class ‘D’ earthquake rating, which is a higher classification than code requirements and one of the few facilities in the nation that can claim this high rating
  
• Intercoms throughout the building give you direct access to the front desk during business hours.
